Project Information:
This recent project in Burleigh Heads was a structural steel platform designed for a music recording studio, with a 5kPa load rating.
This unique design was very specific as our client was working under the guidance of a sound engineer who specified the platform wasn’t connected to the surrounding walls due to resonance.
We supplied and installed the steel platform ready for installation of fibre cement sheeting, plywood flooring, insulation and then a sound proof music recording studio- the final product.
The job was completed within a month of order placement and materials were installed in 1 x day on site.
Welded cleats were used as these were specified by the engineer – We also have an option for bolted cleats with this system.
We provided a scissor lift supplied by Allcott Hire in Burleigh Heads and made use of the forklift on site to lift the beams into place.
