Project Information:
Client enquired to discuss the cost of a Mezzanine Floor in their warehouse located in Arundel on the Gold Coast.
They were weighing up moving one of their other businesses onto the Mezzanine or keeping a separate facility.
The Mezzanine needed to be rated to support a 2000kg CNC machine so we completed the required checks on the point loads and a 5kPa Mezzanine with a 4.5kn point load was required.
The business was operational so it was important we planned everything to ensure the Mezzanine could be built in 1 x day.
This involved pre delivering the hardware and bracketry along with the Forklift – this assisted the client in clearing the space ensuring we could get the job completed as quickly as possible.
With no space to store materials prior to the project, we booked a 6am Delivery slot and had the Mezzanine completed by 2pm so they could begin putting their warehouse back together.
Once the CNC machine is on the Mezzanine, the client is going to enclose it as an office and add air-conditioning.
