Project Information
This mezzanine floor extension at Coolum Beach was designed to create a clean, space ready for an office fit-out. The 25m² mezzanine is engineered to 3kPa, and features 21mm plywood flooring.
The structure was fully certified with a Form 15 engineering certificate and engineered to suit an existing column on site, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with the building. By utilising the existing staircase, the design kept the layout simple and efficient.
Delivered as a blank canvas, the mezzanine has no handrails installed, allowing flexibility for the future office fit-out. Installation was completed in one day, using two forklifts and a scissor lift, keeping site disruption to a minimum.
