3kPa Light Storage Mezz Floor designed and installed in Sumner, QLD.
250UB37 Bearers supported by 100×4.0SHS Columns with C250 Purlins into a nesting channel that was pinned to the tilt panel concrete walls @ 450 centres.
25mm plywood flooring sheets by International Panels and our in-house handrail system with integrated sliding gate that attaches with a couple of handy Inter Clamp parts.
The Ladder is a great concept and meets the AS1657 code – It was supplied by Stockmaster Mezzaclad. They are not for everyone but are a genuine option for non frequented areas or if space is really tight – both of which were relevant on this project.
Equipment Hire by Freedom Forklifts – Jean is always a pleasure to deal with and has quality gear on site when needed.
Installation was a 2 man crew for 1 x Day and a couple of hours the 2nd day to tidy up and finish off.
We mag-drill the Handrail post positions on site as we feel it gives us flexibility at the installation stage and the ability to change positioning if needed versus pre-fabricating the holes off site.
The client was well prepared on this one and gave us plenty of notice so the installation was completed 4 x weeks after he placed the order to suit his schedule.
Building Certification and Town Planning approvals were all completed on the project, which ensures compliance and adds real value to the building and clients investment.
