Project Information
We recently completed a 35 sqm mezzanine installation in Mudgeeraba, designed for a 3 kPa load for storage. The main access for the Mezzanine is via the sliding gate to load and unload with a Forklift. The client is creating further access by an existing set of office stairs further on in his project.
The floor was constructed with 21 mm plywood on joists at 400 mm centres, providing a solid, practical surface for everyday use. With a clearance height of 3475 mm, the area below the mezzanine remains open and usable.
All handrails installed to AS 1657 standards, the mezzanine also included a sliding gate.
The installation itself was completed in one day. The crew used two scissor lifts and a forklift to position materials quickly and safely, keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish.
