It’s been a fast-paced lead-up to the Easter weekend for the Apex Mezzanines team, with our installation crew working hard to deliver another quality project—this time in Coomera.
This 40m² storage mezzanine, designed to a 3kPa load rating, was successfully installed over just two days. While the footprint may sound straightforward, the project came with its challenges. The angled walls of the existing space required careful planning and precision, with each beam needing to be fabricated to a different length to ensure a perfect fit.
The installation process was efficiently executed using two scissor lifts and a forklift, allowing our team to work safely and effectively within the space. We also handled all rubbish removal as part of the job, ensuring a clean and tidy finish for the client.
To enhance functionality, the mezzanine includes a sliding gate for convenient forklift loading access and integrates seamlessly with an existing staircase for easy personnel access.
As with all our projects, engineering compliance was a priority, and a Form 15 certification was provided upon completion.
