Another project done and dusted — this time for a local business in Coomera, QLD 4209, and we’re stoked with how it turned out!
The client came to us needing a bit of extra breathing room in their busy warehouse. Rather than move or extend, we designed and installed a 55sqm mezzanine floor to help them make the most of their vertical space — a quick, tidy, and super effective way to add more storage.
The Specs
Here’s what went into this one:
- Load Capacity: 3 kPa for general storage use
- Flooring: 21mm plywood sheets, joists at 400mm centres
- Handrail: Installed to AS1657-2018, with a 2000mm sliding gate for easy pallet access
- Certification: Supplied with a full Form 15 engineering certificate
- Clearance: 4.7m underneath with a 5m finished floor height
- Lead Time: Around 3 weeks from order
- Install Time: Just 1.5 days on site!
We supplied two scissor lifts for the job, while the client provided their own forklift to move materials.
The Design Challenge
The client needed the mezzanine floor to finish above the roller door, so we custom-designed the structure to reach the exact height required. Access to the mezzanine is via forklift, and it’ll be used to store items that aren’t accessed too often — freeing up valuable floor space below for their day-to-day operations.
The Result
A strong, safe, and efficient storage platform that instantly added more usable space to this bustling Coomera business. From order to install, the whole process was fast, clean, and stress-free — just how we like it.
