Project Information
We recently wrapped up a mezzanine floor project in Loganholme, delivering a 70m² storage platform for a growing business looking to maximise their warehouse space.
This project was designed as a light industrial mezzanine with a 3kPa load rating, making it ideal for general storage and warehouse operations. The floor was constructed using 21mm structural plywood flooring sheets and includes a 1000mm wide staircase fitted with aluminium treads designed to comply with AS1428 requirements. We also installed an NCC-compliant handrail and sliding safety gate beside the stair access point for safe and convenient use.
As with all our mezzanine projects, engineering certification was included, with a Form 15 provided upon completion.
From order placement to installation, the project moved smoothly through our approximately four-week lead time. Once on site, our crew completed the installation in just two days, finishing ahead of schedule. The installation utilised two scissor lifts and a forklift to safely and efficiently assemble the structure with minimal disruption to the client’s operations.
It’s always rewarding to see an unused warehouse volume transformed into valuable storage space. This new mezzanine has effectively added 70 square metres of usable floor area without increasing the building footprint, giving the client room to continue growing their business.
